Erosion protection as described below applies to ALL lots.
  • Lower row of cylinders set on the shale and covered with sand and gravel.
  • Second row of four-foot cylinders aligned above them, pinned with a wide-flange H-beam, then pile driven into the shale.
  • Cylinders are capped with concrete.
  • Two-foot high wall of concrete poured at the land side above the cylinders, reinforced with rebar and the protruding H-beam.
  • This is backfilled and armor stone is placed at an angle rising five feet above the wall.
  • There is an approximately twenty-foot terrace covered with at least one-foot of rip-rap stone.
